TRAVELING BY BIKE TO ILE-ALTAU NATIONAL NATURAL PARK

The bike tour will be held within the territory of the Ili-Alatau National Park. You visit the Charyn canyon which route is about 250 km, Kaindy Lake and Kolsay Lake. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide. If you get tired of riding a bike, you will be provided with transport for your further journey.

The long straight Kokpeksky pass crosses the spurs of the Trans-Ili Alatau and winding Toraigyr. In the Kokpek gorge you will be surprised by the fauna of these places, where you can observe rare birds - mountain porridge and stewart. Some have seen rock thrushes who should definitely nest here. Mysterious and amazing place, lost among the steppes. Charyn Canyon is a natural monument, built of sedimentary rocks, whose age reaches 12 million years. It is difficult to imagine how many thousands of years it took nature to create such a thing. The scenery here is truly amazing.

At sunset, when the sun goes beyond the horizon, the Charyn canyon is painted in scarlet, pink and orange colors. Around the silence and just from below you can hear how the turbulent streams of the Charyn River are beating against the sheer cliffs. This sight will not leave anyone indifferent.

Kainda Lake is a truly amazing example of the creation of nature. It is located in the middle of a huge coniferous forest at an altitude of more than 2000 thousand meters above sea level. Over time, the water element flooded the gorge, thus making the real gate in the very center of the lake. The coniferous trees, which have not been completely flooded until the end of the natural elements, have become a highlight of the Kainda lake, which gives exoticism to the lake. The tops of needles miraculously rise above the water surface of a wonderful lake.

Lake Kolsai in the mountains is just fine, there is no other word to find. It lies as if in a bowl, surrounded on all sides by mountain ranges. Under the rays of the scorching mountain sun, the lake takes on a bright blue or bright blue color. It all depends on how you look at it.

On the third day, you will go up to the Taz Paz Pass, where you will see and discover a new world and perhaps meet mountain animals. The pass is the lowest place in the ridge available for transition. The Taz-Paz Pass is located west of the Kolsai Lakes. Beautiful landscapes of nature fill the soul of man with delight, this beauty is truly fascinating. Turning around, it's hard not to notice - how beautiful the nature is all the same.
