TRAVELING BY THE BIKE TO THE ISSYK CITY

Our bike tour will be held within the territory of the city of Issyk, which is located 50 km from Almaty. You climb bicycles to great heights and see the unusual beauty of the mountains of the Trans-Ili Alatau. You will visit the museum "Issyk" and the famous Issyk Lake. The route to the Issyk Lake is about 20 km from the city of Issyk .. Along the way you will be accompanied by an experienced guide. If you get tired of riding a bike, you will be provided with transport for further follow.

In 1969, a group of Kazakhstani scientists discovered unique archaeological complexes of the Issyk burial ground. One of them, “The Golden Man,” is the most famous archaeological discovery in the history of Kazakhstan, which has become an integral part of the symbolism.

Nowadays, the Golden Man (Golden Warrior) on the winged leopard is one of the most popular symbols. Copies of the Saka warrior are installed in many cities of Kazakhstan, one of which is crowned by the Independence Monument on the main square of Almaty. On the banner of the President of Kazakhstan, the figure of the young leader of the Sakas era on the winged leopard is also depicted.

Lake Issyk (in Kazakh Esik - the door) is located in the Issyk gorge, located on the territory of the Ile-Alatau State National Natural Park. The picturesque, alpine lake surrounded by the unusually beautiful nature of dense forests and wide flower fields is located at an altitude of 1760 meters above sea level.

The lake is surrounded by rocks, forests, alpine meadows. Here there are several plants listed in the Red Book - Kungei feather grass, Adonis gold, Cossack archa, Shrenk spruce, edelweiss and others. Animals include marals, mountain goats, wolves, lynxes, bears and leopards. The water in the lake is cold and clear and rainbow trout dwell in it.
